These Terms govern your use of DoctusHub. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and either a doctoral candidate or affiliated with a doctoral program to use DoctusHub.

The service

DoctusHub is a feedback-organization tool: it clusters, prioritizes, and tracks committee comments on your dissertation. It is not legal advice, not academic advising, and not a dissertation-writing service. You are responsible for the accuracy of the content you upload and for your own academic and institutional obligations.

Your content & obligations

You retain all rights to the dissertation content and comments you upload. You grant us only the limited permission needed to process and display that content back to you within the service. We do not use it to train AI models. You agree to upload only work you own or have permission to use — do not upload others' intellectual property without their consent.

Plans & billing

• The Free tier covers one dissertation and up to 50 comments.
• The Candidate plan is $19/month and the Program plan is $99/month, each billed month-to-month and cancellable at any time.
• Refunds are available within the first 7 days of a paid month if the service isn't right for you.

Acceptable use

Don't use DoctusHub to violate any law, infringe others' rights, or attempt to disrupt the service. We may suspend accounts that do.

Disclaimer

DoctusHub is a productivity tool, not academic, legal, or professional advice. DoctusHub organizes feedback; it does not guarantee dissertation acceptance, a successful defense, or any academic outcome. Final responsibility for your dissertation and your committee's requirements rests with you. The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DoctusHub and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost profits, or academic outcomes, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
